Savings are estimated and based on electricity consumption only; the daily supply charge has not been factored in. The estimated savings amount does not factor in the costs of the system, regardless of whether it’s paid upfront or on a credit/finance contract. The amount of the annual bill savings factors in feed-in tariff amounts for any kilowatt-hours exported back to the grid, however, does not factor in any potential export limits of the inverter. For monthly bills between $100 and $130 amounts, the annual savings amount is greater than the annual bill amount, due to feed-in tariff credits for energy exported back to the grid.

Your Plico and Alinta Energy Questions, Answered

1. Where can I find my Alinta Energy Account number?

You can find this at the top right-hand side of your Alinta Energy gas bill. 

2. When will I get my digital cash card or discount applied?
Depending on your choice between a discount or digital cash card, you can expect to receive this within four weeks after your Plico system is installed. 
3. Can I share this offer with my friends or family?

If your WA friends or family are current Alinta Energy gas customers and have an account number, they’re welcome to join too!

4. If I’m a Plico member and an Alinta Energy gas account holder, can I still access this offer?
You can access the Alinta Energy offer for any additional Plico system you purchase and have installed. Unfortunately, this offer cannot be applied retrospectively to your existing Plico system.
5. Can I access this offer more than once?
This exclusive Alinta Energy offer is only available once per Alinta household/Alinta Energy Account holder. If you would like a second Plico system installed, reach out to Plico and ask if there are other offers available.
6. What rebates am I eligible for?
Battery rebates are available through the WA Residential Battery Scheme and the national Cheaper Home Batteries Program. When you speak to the switched-on team at Plico, they will discuss what rebate opportunities are available to you. 
7. What is a Virtual Power Plant (VPP)?

A VPP is a network of distributed energy resources (DER), in our case household Solar + Battery and Battery Only systems, that is managed remotely to generate, store and transfer energy to and from the grid. When you're part of the Plico VPP, you receive a minimum of 97c/kWh for energy exported from your battery to the grid during a VPP event.
