2024 Member Survey Competition 
Terms & Conditions 

1. Definitions

1.1. The Promoter is Plico Energy, Plico, us, our, we: Starling Energy Group Pty Ltd (ABN: 47 617 042 592 | Level 6/191 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000).

1.2. Existing Member: A person (a) who has satisfied the requirements of Plico’s approvals process; (b) has a Plico system installed at their designated property; and (c) whose VPPSA has not been terminated for any reason.

2. Eligibility

2.1. This Competition is available only to Existing Members (excluding employees of the Promoter).

2.2 This Competition is available to Existing Members who complete and submit the 2024 Plico Member Survey before 11:59 pm Sunday 8th September 2024. Incomplete or inadequate surveys will not be accepted as Competition entries. 

2.3 Existing Members must leave their correct contact details (name and email address) at the end of the completed survey to be eligible for the Competition prize.

2.4 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.

2.5 Only one entry per Plico household is valid for the Competition. 

2.6 The nature of the survey responses provided will in no way influence the Competition outcome, however inadequate completion through the use of 'dummy' responses will not constitute a valid entry in the Competition. 

3. Competiton Prize 

3.1 Five Existing Members will be eligible to win one of the five Competition prizes of equal value. 

3.2 The prize is one of five $100 gift cards, provided as a digital gift card and sent via SMS.

3.3 The redemption of the gift card is the responsibility of the Competition winners. 

3.4 The winners will be drawn at random at L2 46 Edward Street, Osborne Park WA on Monday 16th September 2024. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 

3.5 If, for whatever reason, any Competition winner refuses the prize, another winner will be drawn at random.

3.6 The Promoter is not responsible for any restrictions, availability or inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.

3.7 No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

4. General

4.1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions in its sole discretion, without notice in any event. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter. We may offer and/or restrict additional incentives, benefits and programs. As a result, additional terms may apply. You agree that you are aware of those amended and additional terms. Any amended terms and conditions will be notified to all Existing Members and made available on the Plico Energy website. Cancellation of this program will not affect any Cash or a gift voucher equivalent which have been earned and not paid or distributed before termination, and these terms will continue to apply to those Cash or a gift voucher equivalent.

4.2 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

4.3 The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

4.4 The Competition winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

4.5 The winners' names may be published on social media and Plico publications. 

4.6 By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
