Plico’s COVID-Safe Procedures

The safety and wellbeing of our community and our team is vitally important to Plico. We continue to operate site visits, installations and maintenance operations under COVID-safe precautions. Here are some things you need to know.

Before a visit

Flexible rescheduling

If at any time you are required to isolate, or feel uncomfortable for any reason having a technician visit your home or business, you are welcome to reschedule your appointment to a more convenient time. Simply call your point of contact directly or 1300 175 426.

Prompt communication

If for any reason we are unable to meet our appointment time (for example your technician is required to isolate or is feeling unwell) we will provide you as much notice as possible and reschedule to the earliest available time.

Visit Confirmation

Our technicians will call ahead to confirm whether they are able to safely enter the premises. Where there is any reason to suspect risk of exposure to COVID-19 at the premises they will arrange to reschedule.

During a visit

Hygiene and sanitation

Your technician is provided with P2 masks, alcohol-based hand sanitiser, alcohol-based wipes and disposable gloves. They will use these responsibly to minimise any risk of exposure.

Safe distance

Your technician will provide 1.5m distance between themselves and your occupants wherever possible, to maintain social distancing measures.
