Perth Home Show 2024 Promotion
Our Perth Home Show 2024 Promotion (Promotion) is designed to help you become part of Plico’s growing community and create a greater impact at a household and local community level and help tackle climate change, which impacts us all.
If you are a New Member, have a Successful Installation at your home and otherwise satisfy the eligibility criteria specified in these terms and conditions as follows, you'll go into the draw to win up to a $5,000 Cash Prize.
By indicating that You wish to participate in the Promotion as indicated in the terms and conditions, You accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions at all times.
The Perth Home Show 2024 Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions1.1. The Promoter is Plico, us, our, we: CEPCO 2022 Pty Ltd or Starling Energy Group Pty Ltd ABN 47 617 042 592 trading as Plico Energy as appropriate located at L2 46 Edward Street, Osborne Park WA 6017.
1.2. Promotion Period: Starts 10:00 AM 21 June 2024 and Ends 11:59 PM 31 December 2024.
1.3 Entrants must be WA residents 18 years of age and older.
1.2 Cash Prize: means a prize value of $5,000 (for entrants who have a Plico solar and battery system) OR $3,000 (for entrants who have a Plico standalone battery only system) OR $2,000 (for entrants who have a Plico solar only system) subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
1.3 New Member: someone who has not previously had a Plico system installed at any property as part of the Plico Project carried on by Plico.
1.4 VPPSA: a Virtual Power Plant Services Agreement made between Plico and its customers, in the form used by Plico from time to time.
1.5 You: the person responding to or indicating an interest in the Promotion.
1.6 Successful Installation: where an approved Qualifying Product has been fully installed and is operational at Your designated property in accordance with Plico’s policies, procedures and protocols.
1.7 A Qualifying Plico System, eligible under Plico's Perth Home Show 2024 Promotion for the $5,000 Cash Prize, is one of the full solar + battery systems listed on the Plico Energy website (Solar Battery System Products & Pricing | Plico https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/solar-battery-systems), as well as other full solar + battery systems in the Plico range that may not be explicitly listed on the above website.
A Qualifying Plico System, eligible under Plico's Perth Home Show 2024 Promotion for the $3,000 Cash Prize, is one of the standalone battery only systems listed on the Plico Energy website (Solar Battery System Products & Pricing | Plico https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/products-pricing-battery), as well as other battery only systems in the Plico range that may not be explicitly listed on the above website.
A Qualifying Plico System, eligible under Plico's Perth Home Show 2024 Promotion for the $2,000 Cash Prize, is one of the solar only systems listed on the Plico Energy website (https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/solar-only-systems), as well as other solar only systems in the Plico range that may not be explicitly listed on the above website.
2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1 Plico may award you the Cash Prize in accordance with these terms and conditions if:
2.1.1 You Indicate your interest in this Promotion by booking an obligation-free site visit or phone call directly through our sales team or via the links provided on the campaign landing page at the Perth Home Show during the event period of 21-23 June 2024, or by calling 1300 175 426 between the 21st and 28th of June 2024 and referencing that you were at the Perth Home Show during the event period of 21-23 June 2024;
2.1.2 You are a New Member (as defined in these terms and conditions);
2.1.3 You sign a VPPSA before 31 July 2024;
2.1.4 Your site visit date is before 31 July 2024;
2.1.5 You and Your designated property satisfy Plico’s conditions, criteria and requirements for entering into and receiving services under a VPPSA, including credit checks and title-deed checks;
2.1.6 Your application relating to the installation of the Plico system is approved by Synergy;
2.1.7 Your application relating to the installation of the Plico system is approved by Western Power;
2.1.8 You and Your designated property satisfy all conditions to the installation of a Plico system at Your designated property;
2.1.9 Your installation of the Qualifying Plico system is completed by 31 December 2024;
2.1.10 You have not already been contacted by Plico or have not already contacted Plico in any way before 21 June 2024.
2.1.11 a Successful Installation of a Qualifying Plico System occurs at Your designated property.
2.2 Plico will award you the Cash Prize, via bank transfer, as soon as reasonably practicable after completion of the random selection on 17 of January 2025.
2.3 The offer and entries into the Promotion is limited to one entry per Plico system installed.
2.4 Plico may in its sole and absolute discretion make a final determination as to whether the criteria above are satisfied and whether or not You are eligible to receive the Cash Prize.
3.1 There is no cost to enter the draw.
3.2 Entry into the draw is automatic via the Plico Perth Home Show 2024 event landing page as part of the Plico website, once the potential customer submits their details to Plico. Once the potential customer’s details have been submitted on the landing page, the potential customer is then in the draw. This landing page will be available to all potential customers that see Plico at the Perth Home Show during the 21st-23rd of June 2024.
3.3 Entries into the draw are limited to one entry per Plico system installed.
3.3 There is one prize and one prize winner. The winning prize is either a cash prize to be paid via bank transfer to the winner, to the value of $5,000 for a solar and battery system OR $3,000 for a standalone battery only system OR $2,000 for a solar only system.
3.4 The winner, who will need to satisfy the above eligibility criteria, will be chosen by random selection on the 17 of January 2025. Draw will take place 10:00 AM at L2 46 Edward Street, Osborne Park WA 6017. We will use the computer program of randomdraws.com.au to randomly select the winner of the prize.
3.5 Once the winner, who satisfies the above eligibility criteria is known, then the relevant cash price will then be known. This will be by what kind of Plico system the winner has had installed in line with the below:
$5,000 if a solar and battery system was installed,
$3,000 if a standalone battery only system was installed, or
$2,000 if a solar only system was installed.
3.6 Records of the prize draw will be kept for at least 12 months.
3.7 Access to witness the prize draw can be requested, and will be approved at the discretion of Plico. Plico will ensure a member of the public will witness the draw.
3.8 Winner will be notified via email on the day of the draw (17 January 2025) and published on the Plico Energy website by 24 January 2025. If required, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 17 April 2025 at the same location and time as the original draw. The winner of the unclaimed prize will be notified via email on 17 April 2025 and published on the Plico Energy website by 24 April 2025.
4.1 By participating in the Promotion, You consent to Plico and its related parties or affiliates using personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) provided by You in connection with the Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding the Cash Prize, including to third parties involved in the promotion and any relevant authorities. In addition to any use that may be outlined in Plico’s Privacy Policy, Plico and its related parties or affiliates may, unless otherwise advised, use the private information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning You. 4.2 You (and your companions, as relevant) may be required by Plico to participate in photo, recording, video or film session(s), and you grant the right to use such publicity materials in any medium (including, without limitation, the internet) to Plico to use in any manner we sees fit.
All entries become the property of Plico. As a condition of entering into this Promotion, you agree to assign all your rights in and to your entry and any related content to us, including any copyright or other intellectual property rights in the entry and related content. Without limiting this, we may use entry content for any and all purposes including commercial purposes. You warrant that entry content is original, lawful and not misleading and that the Promoter’s use of such content will not infringe the rights of any third parties. We have no obligation to credit you as the author of any content submitted and may otherwise do any acts or omissions which would otherwise constitute an infringement of any moral rights you may have as an author of content.
4.3 The Cash Prize is conditional on the eligibility criteria set out above. Plico makes no representation or guarantees that the Cash Prize will be available, and You should not enter into any negotiations or contract in the expectation of receiving the Cash Prize, waived membership or other offer, or in reliance on any representation made by anyone other than Plico.
4.4 This offer may be valid in conjunction with other offers, yet this will be solely at Plico's discretion.
4.5 The Cash Prize will be adjusted to reflect the type of system that has been successfully installed as stated in these terms and conditions. $5,000 (solar and battery system), $3,000 (standalone battery only system) or $2,000 (solar only system).
4.6 The winner be selected at random via a computer program on 17 of January 2025.
4.7 Plico (including its related parties and affiliates and their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising from the use or loss of the Cash Prize.
4.8 Plico may cancel or amend these terms at any time on giving reasonable notice, subject to approval of the relevant authorities. Any amended terms and conditions will be made available on the Plico website.
4.9 If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
4.9 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
