    Switch Your Thinking 2023 Promotion

    Our Switch Your Thinking promotion (Promotion) is designed to help you become part of Plico’s growing community and create a greater impact at a household and local community level and help tackle climate change, which impacts us all.   

    Plico will waive the membership fee (usually $250) plus provide a $500 gift card if you are a New Member, have a Successful Installation of a full solar and battery system at your home and otherwise satisfy the eligibility criteria specified in these terms and conditions as follows.   

    Plico will waive the membership fee (usually $250) plus provide a $200 gift card if you are a New Member, have a Successful Installation of a standalone battery system at your home and otherwise satisfy the eligibility criteria specified in these terms and conditions as follows. 

    By indicating that You wish to participate in the Promotion as indicated in the terms and conditions, You accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions at all times.  

     

    Switch Your Thinking Promotion: Terms & Conditions  

    1. Definitions

    1.1. Plico, us, our, we: CEPCO 2019 Pty Ltd  

    1.2  Gift Card: means a gift card to the value of $500 for a full solar + battery system or $200 for a standalone battery system from Universal Gift Card (Corporate Prepaid Cards Pty Ltd) to be sent to recipients via SMS message, subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document. This gift card can be used anywhere that Mastercard is accepted.   

    1.3  New Member: someone who has not previously had a Plico system installed at any property as part of the Plico Project carried on by Plico.  

    1.4  VPPSA: a Virtual Power Plant Services Agreement made between Plico and its customers, in the form used by Plico from time to time.  

    1.5  You: the person responding to or indicating an interest in the Promotion.  

    1.6  Successful Installation: where an approved Qualifying Product has been fully installed and is operational at Your designated property in accordance with Plico’s policies, procedures and protocols.

    1.7  An Approved Plico System, eligible under Plico's $750 Switch Your Thinking incentive, is one of the full solar + battery systems listed on the Plico Energy website (Solar Battery System Products & Pricing | Plico https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/solar-battery-systems), as well as other full solar + battery systems in the Plico range that may not be explicitly listed on the above website OR an Approved Plico System, eligible under Plico's $200 Switch Your Thinking incentive, is one of the standalone battery only systems listed on the Plico Energy website (Solar Battery System Products & Pricing | Plico https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/products-pricing-battery), as well as other battery only systems in the Plico range that may not be explicitly listed on the above website. 

     

    2. Eligibility Criteria

    2.1  Plico may give to You a Gift Card in accordance with these terms and conditions if: 

    2.1.1  You Indicate your interest in this promotion by booking an obligation-free site visit directly through our sales team or via the links provided on the campaign landing page or by calling 1300 175 426 during the duration of the Plico and Switch Your Thinking partnership, or such later date that we may determine in our absolute discretion; 

    2.1.2  You are a New Member (as defined in these terms and conditions); 

    2.1.3  You sign a VPPSA within 4 weeks of the “site visit completed date”; 

    2.1.4  Your site visit date is during the duration of the Plico and Switch Your Thinking partnership.

    2.1.5  You and Your designated property satisfy Plico’s conditions, criteria and requirements for entering into and receiving services under a VPPSA, including credit checks and title-deed checks; 

    2.1.6  Your application relating to the installation of the Plico system is approved by Synergy; 

    2.1.7  Your application relating to the installation of the Plico system is approved by Western Power; 

    2.1.8  You and Your designated property satisfy all conditions to the installation of a Plico system at Your designated property; 

    2.1.9  Your installation of the Plico system is completed within 6 months of the signing date of your VPPSA;  

    2.1.10  You have not already been contacted by Plico or have not already contacted Plico in any way within 12 months of submitting a form on this landing page. 

    2.1.11  a Successful Installation of a Qualifying Product occurs at Your designated property. 

    2.2  Plico will give you the Gift Card as soon as reasonably practicable after completion of the Successful Installation of a Qualifying Product at Your designated property.  

    2.3 The offer is limited to one system per New Member.

    2.4  Plico may in its sole and absolute discretion make a final determination as to whether the criteria above are satisfied and whether or not You are eligible to receive a Gift Card. 

    3. General

    3.1  By participating in the Promotion, You consent to Plico and its related parties or affiliates using personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) provided by You in connection with the Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding the Gift Card, including to third parties involved in the promotion and any relevant authorities. In addition to any use that may be outlined in Plico’s Privacy Policy, Plico and its related parties or affiliates may, unless otherwise advised, use the private information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning You.     3.2  The award of waived membership is conditional on the eligibility criteria set out above. Plico makes no representation or guarantees that a Gift Card and/or waived membership will be available, and You should not enter into any negotiations or contract in the expectation of receiving the benefit of a Gift Card, waived membership or other offer, or in reliance on any representation made by anyone other than Plico.

    3.3  This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other Plico offer.    

    3.4  The Gift Card is a universal gift card that is acceptable anywhere where MasterCard is accepted as a form of payment.  It is not cash, but is equivalent to cash.  Further terms and conditions from Universal Gift Card (Corporate Prepaid Cards Pty Ltd) may apply.     3.5  Plico (including its related parties and affiliates and their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising from (a) the use of the Gift Card; (b) the operation of the Gift Card; or (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference relating to the Git Card beyond the reasonable control of Plico;    

    3.6  Plico will, by default, firstly reduce any additional upfront costs that are above the standard installation cost in relation to your installation, by the gift card amount, and then, only if a balance remains, will Plico issue the remaining balance as a Gift Card.

    3.7  Plico may cancel or amend these terms at any time on giving reasonable notice, at its sole discretion. Any amended terms and conditions will be made available on the Plico website.  

    3.8  These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
