Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
1.1. The Promoter is Plico Energy, Plico, us, our, we: Starling Energy Group Pty Ltd (ABN: 47 617 042 592 | Level 6/191 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000)
1.2. Existing Member: A person (a) who has satisfied the requirements of Plico’s approvals process; (b) has a Plico system installed at their designated property; and (c) whose VPPSA has not been terminated for any reason.
1.3. Valid Referral: A referral made by an Existing Member to another person who resides in Plico's current service area (covered by the South West Interconnected System), who is not an Existing Member or who has ever been an Existing Member, or ever been in contact with Plico before 31st July 2023.
2. Eligibility
2.1. This Competition is available to Existing Members (excluding employees of the Promoter) who make valid a referral between 12:00am 1 August 2023 and 11:59pm 31 August 2023. A referral is included as an entry in the Competition and registered with the Promoter when:
2.1.1. The person that the Existing Member has referred includes the Existing Member’s name when signing up via the contact form on the Plico Referral page: https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/referral
2.1.2 The person that the Existing Member has referred includes the Existing Member’s name on the phone when enquiring with Plico.
2.1.3 The person that the Existing Member has referred includes the Existing Member’s name when enquiring via email, Messenger or other digital written forms with Plico.
2.2 A valid referral must be recorded within the Competition timeframe to be eligible as an entry in the competition.
2.3 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.
2.4 There is no limit on the amount of valid referrals an Existing Member can make as part of the competition. Each valid referral counts as one entry into the Competition.
3. Competiton Prize
3.1 The prize for this Competition is a $1000 Dunsborough Holiday Homes gift voucher and a $200 Meelup Farmhouse gift voucher, provided as a digital gift card and emailed to the winner. The gift voucher is valid for three years from 31 August 2023.
3.2 The redemption of the gift voucher is the responsibility of the competition winner. All correspondence regarding holiday home and restuarant bookings must be made between the competition winner and Dunsborough Holiday Homes.
3.3 The winner will be drawn at random at 191 St George's Terrace on Tuesday 12 September 2023. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
3.4 If, for whatever reason, the Competition winner refuses the prize, another winner will be drawn at random.
3.5 The Promoter is not responsible for any restrictions, availability or conditions the Dunsborough Holiday Homes and/or Meelup Farmhouse may have in relation to this Competition.
3.6 The Promoter is not responsible for any restrictions, availability or inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
3.7 No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
4. Handling unrecognised referrers
4.1. There may be cases where the Promoter will not be able to recognise which Existing Member has made a possible referral. In this instance, we want to make sure you can participate in this Competition and the Referral Program so our team may try to phone either party to confirm the referrer details.
4.2. An unrecognised referral will not stop the New Member’s application from being processed.
5. General
5.1. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our Member Referral program Terms and Conditions (https://www.plicoenergy.com.au/terms-conditions/referral-2022).
5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in any event. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
5.3 The Promoter may cancel or amend these terms, the Competition, Referral Program or Super Referral Program at any time on giving reasonable notice, in its sole discretion. We may offer and/or restrict additional incentives, benefits and programs. As a result, additional terms may apply. You agree that you are aware of those amended and additional terms. Any amended terms and conditions will be notified to all existing Members and made available on the Plico Energy website. Cancellation of this program will not affect any Cash or a gift voucher equivalent which have been earned and not paid or distributed before termination, and these terms will continue to apply to those Cash or a gift voucher equivalent.
5.4 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.5 The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
5.6 The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
5.7 The winner’s name will be published on social media.
5.8 By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
