We’ve teamed up with Carbon Positive Australia to combat climate change on another front!
We are planting 1000 trees in Brookton in WA to restore previously cleared farmland. Putting trees back in the landscape not only supports ecosystems and soil health, it also reduces erosion and provides critical habitat for wildlife. Trees also remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and are a critical strategy to reduce the impacts of climate change.
This is our moment
We welcomed almost 100 new members to the Plico Movement in June and July as part of our World Environment Day campaign and, as promised, we will be planting 10 trees per new member. Plus some!
The trees will capture 268 tonnes of carbon over their lifetime...that’s on top of the carbon emissions our new members are reducing with their Plico Solar and Battery Systems!
