Savvy Saver | Spotlight on Plico Member Natalie

Plico member Nat has enjoyed significant savings and increased the value of her home since installing a solar battery. 

Installing a solar battery was the smart choice for savvy mum, Natalie. She was already saving with her solar panels but wanted to reduce her electricity bills even further with a solar battery. Now her bills are down, especially over summer, and she’s less worried about using high energy consuming appliances like the air con.

Nat’s average daily electricity costs have reduced by 49% and her household is using 79% less grid power with the addition of a Plico solar battery. She’s also earned an extra $50 for being part of Plico’s Virtual Power Plant, and is set to receive more VPP payments in future.
